About the Department

The Department of Library and Information Science was established in the Year 2019 with starting of academic session in 2020. The Department currently provides 2-year integrated Master of Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc) degree with total intake capacity of 20. The Department is under the Faculty of Physical, Chemical and Mathematical Sciences and currently located in the first floor of MCB building. The Department is dedicated towards creating the next-gen Information Professionals through its diverse modern curricula, teaching, hands on training to modern library technologies with various other outreach programs.
